What started as a hobby became a source of income. By the time I had to figure out what I was going to do beyond high school, it was an easy choice. Designing. I always knew I wanted to design but never really considered it for a career path; one big reason for that is the lack of appreciation for the artist in the Philippines. It’s also not the greatest choice; it’s the easiest, yes, but not the greatest choice for an eldest child in a Filipino family.

However, this doesn’t stop me from exploring more in the field. I got introduced to mock-ups by a friend, which then led me to creating logos for mock-ups, designing shirts, making book covers, and more. With this, it helps me a lot to gain more income; it also helps me develop more of my skills.
